Botanical artist and Willamette Valley Chapter NPSO member Aislinn Adams will share a slide show about her commissioned project to document the native wildflowers of Silver Falls State Park. Originally from Ireland, Aislinn has lived in Salem, Oregon since 2000. She graduated with a degree in Visual Communications from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland and worked for many years as a graphic designer before returning to college to study horticulture at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Ireland. Aislinn illustrated the “Digging In” gardening column in the Washington Post newspaper for ten years from 2000 to 2010.
