Presenter: Nora Dunkirk
Location: Sisters Library, 110 N Cedar St., Sisters, OR 97759
Oregon Rare Species Spotters (formerly Citizen’s Rare Plant Watch) volunteer training for NPSO High Desert Chapter will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026. We will meet in Sisters, OR to discuss Oregon Rare Species Spotters, learn how to collect data with Survey123, and then practice monitoring rare plants. There will be an outdoor component to the training to practice our new skills, so please come prepared for any weather conditions. This training is perfect for people interested in finding rare plants, contributing to their conservation, and collecting detailed population information. This training is supported by the NPSO High Desert Chapter, with a suggested donation of $20 for members and $30 for non-members to help cover travel costs for our instructor. If you’re able to give more, it helps us continue offering programs like this. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please register by emailing Nora Dunkirk at nd******@*dx.edu. Please donate here.
