The annual meeting of the Eriogonum Society is not sponsored by the Siskiyou Chapter NPSO but will be held in our area and may be of interest to all members.

The 2026 meeting of the Eriogonum Society will be held July 9-12 in Selma, Oregon, in the heart of the botanically rich Siskiyou-Klamath area of southwestern Oregon and northwestern California. From our base near Selma, we will visit local botanical areas and range as far as Crescent City and Mount Ashland. The Eriogonum Society meeting will include a half-day workshop on Eriogonum identification, field trips to buckwheat hotspots, dinners with local speakers, and the chance to meet lots of buckwheat enthusiasts.
