Dina Pavlis will give us an overview of native plant habitats found in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The presentation will include “then and now” information, why open sand is disappearing and how that impacts native plants, how and why native plant habitats changed dramatically during the twentieth century, and current efforts to save them.
