Field Trip: Blue Mountain County Park

The 268-acre Blue Mountain County Park is located along Mosby Creek southeast of
Cottage Grove. Its mostly forested landscape contains a diverse assortment of lowland
forest wildflowers, with a few prairie species mixed in. We will explore the older forest
along a 1-mile loop on the valley bottom, and if time allows, explore an old logging road
to a more open viewpoint.
Meet at South Eugene High School at 9:00 am. Bring water and snacks, sturdy footwear,
