Event: Annual Native Plant Sale
Our annual native plant sale has been promoted on our website, Facebook, our email
distribution list, the local newspaper, and radio in partnership with the Klamath County
Museum. The goal is to provide the local community with a variety of native species
suitable for the Klamath Basin. The Chapter sold approximately 1,350 plants in 2025. This
year’s sale features sixty-seven species, approximately 1,500 plants, with 80%
propagated in Klamath Falls in partnership with the Klamath County Master Gardeners.
The rest will be sourced from Winter Creek Restoration and Nursery in Bend. Seed sowing
and transplanting began in January and continues to date for a select number of native
plants. This event includes a variety of native flowering plants and shrubs in 3.5” and 1-
gallon pots. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the native plant sale.
