Field Trip: Rescheduled Slow Hike on Cone Peak Trail

Location: Meet at South Eugene High School to carpool
We will head up through Sweet Home and start on the back side of Iron Mountain, looking for some fabulous wildflower displays. Bring your camera, lunch, lots of water, sun hat, and sturdy boots. We’ll stay on a relatively level trail (it follows the mountain contours) and will walk approximately 2 miles out and back. On the way home, we’ll loop over to the McKenzie Highway and stop at Fish Lake if time allows. Sign up here.
