The trip leader will provide carpool details. A Northwest Forest Pass is required.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a moderate hike of 2.6 miles with 570 feet of elevation gain.\u00a0Lookout Mountain is east of Mount Hood and the Hood River Valley. We\u2019ll hike from High Prairie up to the top of Lookout Mountain and return. We will see a variety of forests, meadows, and rocky outcrops with lots of good plants.
