There are at least 16 species of Eriogonumthat grow in the Siskiyou Mountains\, and 26 overall Eriogonum taxa when you include varieties. Native buckwheats come in many shapes and sizes. Come learn about the incredible diversity of native buckwheats in the Siskiyou Mountains! \nSuzie Savoie is a native seed collector and co-owner of Klamath-Siskiyou Native Seeds and is a former Conservation Chair for the Siskiyou Chapter Native Plant Society of Oregon. She works on conservation issues throughout the Siskiyou Mountains\, lives off-grid below the Red Buttes Wilderness\, and loves to get into remote locations to see rare plants\, including native buckwheats.
