DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, May 7\, 9:30 am – 2:00 pm\nField Trip: Hobart’s Bluff\nLeader: Rachel Werling\nHobart’s Bluff Trail is a gorgeous and accessible way into the Cascade Siskiyou National\nMonument and features the beautiful botanical diversity for which our region is known.\nThe route follows the Pacific Crest Trail\, meandering through meadows and woodlands\nand along ridges\, culminating with a stunning panoramic view of the Bear Creek Valley.\nThe hike will be three miles altogether\, with our end point at an elevation of 5\,502 feet.\nMost of the trail is fairly level\, but the last half mile climbs about 200 feet to the bluff\nand overlook.
