F. Henderson (1853-1942) Botanist Louis Henderson was a larger-than-life figure in the mold of John Muir. Possessed of great physical strength and stamina, he energetically explored the mountains, deserts, forests, and seacoasts of the Northwest for 65 years, adding greatly to our knowledge of the flora.
